Abstract
Tipologia familiilor s-a diversificat în timp. A crescut ponderea copiilor care trăiesc în familii cu un singur părinte, în familii în care părinţii nu sunt căsătoriţi sau în familii în care cel puţin unul dinre părinţi nu este părinte biologic. Condiţiile de viaţă, de creştere şi de educare, sănătatea şi bunăstarea copiilor depind în cea mai mare măsură de mediul economic şi social în care s-au născut şi în care trăiesc copiii, de ceea ce le oferă familia şi societatea.
