SLOT COORDINATION OF MOTION OF URBAN PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT IN THE CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORT-TRANSPLANTATION TERMINAL

Abstract
Purpose. To form the structure and sequence of coordination of motion of urban public passenger transport from the positions of orientation to providing of maximal realization of service-resource potential within the limits of existent possibilities of passenger transport infrastructure. Methodology. For forming of the variant of slot schedule of traffic there has been used modified genetic algorithm of search of rational distribution of arrival time of transport vehicles in transport-transplantation terminal. In accordance with the generally accepted special purpose of function of urban public passenger transport the criterion of choice of rational variant of slot schedule envisages providing of minimization of time of unproductive outage of transport vehicles in a turn at their arrival in transport-transplantation terminal for ser- vice. Results. The presented form of slot coordination allows to find optimal decisions at the concordance of periods of time of service of routes of urban public passenger transport in transport-transplantation terminals, provides forming of traffic schedule with taking into account resource limitations of routes and existent parameters of carrying capacity of stopping points. Originality. The put task of forming of traffic schedule differs from existent approaches with the use of genetic algorithm of search of optimal decisions for its solving, that allows to considerably shorten procedure of consideration of totality of possible variants of timetable and distinguish the level of their adjustment with regard to the terms of stabilization of functioning of transport-transplantation terminals. The presented modification of genetic algo- rithm for the terms of transport-transplantation terminals consists of realization of multilevel procedure of selection of alternative variants of slot schedule of traffic on the basis of estimation of its meaningfulness in relation to resource possibilities of subjects of urban public passenger transport. Practical value. The offered method of slot coordination of motion of transport vehicles in transport-transplantation junction is the effective instrument of the current planning of the functioning of urban public passenger transport and it allows to solve the practical tasks of development of unified traffic schedule within the limits of the incorporated organizational and technological system of urban passenger trans- portations.
