slugA Survey on Enhancing Network Lifetime of Nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
Wireless sensor networks have become an important research area in the field of computers and electronics in the last decade. The original motivation for the development of wireless sensor networks was military applications such as battlefield surveillance. However there are number of other applications of wireless sensor networks such as healthcare monitoring, forest fire detection, environment monitoring, home automation. This paper gives a brief overview of what a wireless sensor network is, its applications, challenges in wireless sensor networks, network lifetime and the techniques for maximizing the network lifetime.

Dynamic approach of Range Aggregate queries in Big Data environment
Range-aggregate queries are to apply a certain aggregate function on all tuples within given query ranges. Existing approaches to range-aggregate queries are insufficient to quickly provide accurate results in big data...
Compare the Peat Soil Stabilization Using Gypsum and Quick Lime With Fly Ash
These paper demonstrate the comparative study on peat soil stabilization with different stabilizing agents. Peat soil are highly organic content and well kown for high compressibility, natural wetness content, dumpy she...
Investigating and Analysis of Thermal Energy Storage System Using MgCl2.6H2O PCM for the Application of Refrigeration
In this paper we are mainly considering the hot and cold temperature interrelation in the analysis of thermal energy storage. The solidification of the storage system is increased by adding the hydrated salts. The phase...
Nonlinear Pushover Analysis for Performance Based Engineering Design – A Review
Engineering Structures are designed to withstand all the anticipated loads without failure. Even after utmost care in assessing the expected loads as per the Codal provisions and field experience, modeling random loads...
Enhancement of COP by using Liquid Line-Suction Line Heat Exchanger at Various Lengths with Refrigerant R-134a
Improvement of performance of system is very much important for higher refrigerating effect or reduced power consumption for same refrigerating effect. By sub-cooling using heat exchanger at condenser inlet refrigeratin...
