slugSelf Organizing Network Functions in 4G (LTE)
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2013, Vol 1, Issue 5
Abstract
This paper deals with Self Organizing Network (SON) and its functions which play a very important role in the cellular network. Now a day’s networks are getting more complex to configure, optimize and maintain. Manually it becomes very difficult to monitor the number of network parameters of increasing number of base stations in the network. SON provides the solution to network problem without any manual intervention. In other words we can say that SON is used to reduce the CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operational Expenditure) of mobile operator. Many SON functions will give cost savings and performance benefits from the very beginning of a network deployment. SON has the self healing capability when any fault occurs in the network. Basically SON module in the LTE network consist of many function called as SON functions such as MRO (Mobility Robustness Optimization), CCO (Coverage and Capacity Optimization), ANR (Automatic Neighbor Relation), PCI (Physical Cell Identity), MLB (Mobility Load Balancing) etc.

Study of Simple Pendulum: Special Context to Hollow Bob
In this research paper we will be formulating the expression for time period for varying length pendulum. The hollow bob suspended to non-stretchable string forms the system of our interest. The small solid ball of suit...
Thermal Performance Analysis of A Circular Tube Using Vortex Rings at Various Angle and Pitch Ratio
The influence of inclined vortex rings (VR) on heat transfer augmentation in a uniform heat-fluxed tube has been investigated experimentally. In the present work, thevortex rings were mounted repeatedly in the tube with...
Investigate the Features for Analysis of EEG Signals Using Multivariate Empirical Mode Decomposition
BCI (Brain Computer Interface) is collaboration between neural activity of the brain and an external device. These are the control and communication systems which converts human brain signals into commands and messages...
Classification of Audio Signal Using Local Discriminant Bases
In the age of digital information, audio data has become an important part in many modern computer applications. Audio classification has been becoming a focus in the research of audio processing and pattern recognition...
An Efficient Technique for Fingerprint Features Protection and Person Identification Using Wavelet Transform
Fingerprint recognition is a widely used technique for person identification. The two major techniques for fingerprint identification are minutiae based technique and non-minutiae based technique. In this paper we propo...
