Snapping Elbow due to Isolated Ulnar Nerve Dislocation- A Rare Case Report
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF MEDICAL COLLEGE CHANDIGARH - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 1
Abstract
Ulnar nerve instability without compression at the cubital tunnel is not common and even rarer is a dislocating nerve. Snapping around the medial humeral epicondyle can also be caused by a subluxing medial head of the triceps. This pathology may be accompanied by symptoms of the ulnar nerve neuropathy. We present our own experience of a case where clinical findings were suggesting nerve compression. The subluxing nerve required surgical treatment in form of anterior sub muscular transposition of the ulnar nerve.
