SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS OF VICTIMS SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF AN ECOLOGICAL CATASTROPHE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of socio-psychological factors of victims’ moral suffering as a result of an ecological catastrophe. The results of empirical research of victims psychotraumatisation and interrelationships of ecological disaster and moral suffering are presented. Based on the results of empirical research, were discovered a direct causal links between the caused moral harm, moral suffering and psycho-traumatic factors of an emergency ecological situation. It was emphasized that the psycho-traumatic impact on the personality of each of the victims, in the circumstances investigated is profound and potentially dangerous for the community's mental health. There have been many environmental disasters and catastrophes in the history of Ukraine. One of them began at the Petroleum Station of the “Pobutrembutmaterialy” Ltd. on june 8 and lasted until june 20, 2015. This happened at the address: Kyiv region Vasilkovsky district, smt. Glevaha – and led to a major fire with explosives of chemicals and hazardous emissions. The state has fixed the circumstances of the fire by the relevant Act drawn up on a commission basis in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 26, 2003, No. 2030 “On Approval of the Procedure for Accounting for Fire and its Consequences”. The act of fire recorded a death of 5 (five) people and physical injury 16 (sixteen) people. The extraordinary nature of the event, its course and its consequences were fixed by the official report of the Governmental Commission on the results of consequences liquidation of the emergency situation on the territory of the oil terminal. According to the results of the report of the Government Commission, it was established that due to the proximity of the oil tanker to the military, there was a real threat of their detonation and consequently into the zone of defeat of the residential districts of Vasylkiv and the surrounding villages. The efforts of the NDSU staff, managed to prevent this catastrophe. Thus, the central authorities of Ukraine have officially recognized the exceptional status of both the fire itself and its possible consequences. However, a number of related issues were not violated: first of all, the impact of the situation on the socio-psychological climate and the moral suffering experienced by the community.
