SOCIAL JUSTICE IN TRANSITIVE SOCIETIES: POSSIBILITIES OF MAINTENANCE

Abstract

The article proves that preserving the term “social justice” in politics and practice of transitive societies reflects their economic level as well as their inseparable connection with patriarchal values and/ or totalitarian heritage. The absence of the rules meant to provide equal possibilities for the realization of every personality’s creative potential deprives people of their self-worth, and results in overestimating the role and meaning of external forces – the God, political elite, government, etc. in their lives. Within the framework of such an outlook the ontological nature of moral is grounded, leading to sharp opposition of domestic and foreign that gives birth to the liberal values criticism. It has been found out that at present there is no proof that liberal values won’t be able to become an inseparable part of transitive societies’ moral, provided that the human rights and the general rules of social interrelation would be established.
