SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY

Abstract
The adoption and implementation of international standards are the important steps of the international community to ensure the health and life of employees at the workplaces. The article deals with the analysis of the main components implementing the international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 "Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Scheme" at the enterprises of the transnational campaign "ArcelorMittal" in Kryvyj Rih. Statistics on accidents and work-related diseases, the comparative analysis of frequency of injuries with loss of working days, the causes of accidents, the seniority of employees diagnosed with work-related diseases have been represented in the article. The investment policy of the enterprises performing the main directions of organization of the occupational safety and health, the international auditor's report on compliance of this activity with requirements of international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 "Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Scheme", control system of occupational health and safety management system at the enterprises of "ArcelorMittal" have been analyzed here too.
