Social responsibility as a means to strengthen research skills, research role and scientific production

Abstract
Higher Education Institutions in Peru are subject to two complementary processes: Accreditation and Licensing. These study houses, at the local, regional and national level, put at risk obtaining approval in these processes due to the scarce research, innovations and actions of social responsibility of teachers. That is why the present research aimed to establish social responsibility actions as a means to strengthen the driving team’s investigative competences in their role as a research teacher at theEscuela de Educación Superior Pedagógica Pública“Piura”.For this purpose, the study is framed in the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach under the study modality Action Project Report, descriptive level. The population and sample were the teachers of theEscuela de Educación Superior Pedagógica Pública“Piura”.The data collection technique was the structured interview applied to the teachers to find out if they had carried out research or innovations, the questionnaire was used as an instrument and then the analysis was carried out that led to the design of the actions.It was concluded that with the establishment of social responsibility actions as a means to strengthen investigative competencies in teachers of theEscuela de Educación Superior Pedagógica Pública“Piura”, the aim was to train staff in the area of scientific research and production, motivated to the fact that it is an area where a great institutional weakness has been noted
