SOCIAL SECURITY: INTERNAL SECURITY PERSPECTIVE

Abstract
The article presents social security as an area (sector) of security from the perspective of modern internal security. This paper discusses the issues related to broadening and deepening security, the well-established areas (sectors) and interdependencies between them. The article addresses the issues of cultural and welfare nature, which are then referred to the basic conceptual grid of internal security and to the current security paradigm. The relationship between social security and internal security is exemplified by the official documents of the Finnish government (the Internal Security Program, the Strategy for Security in Society).
