Abstract
The article is devoted to the problems of cerebrovascular pathology among the population of the countries of the world including Kazakhstan. The cerebrovascular pathology is one of the leading places in the ranks of the countries of the world by mortality. And today in the world, stroke is declared a global problem, threatening the health and life of people. Every year in the world, more than 17 million people suffer from the stroke, of which more than 70 percent live in the middle-income or low-income countries. In the Republic of Kazakhstan stroke is the third most common after myocardial infarction and malignant neoplasm.
