SOURCE STUDY AND HISTORIOGRAPHIC ASPECTS OF PEREIASLAV SHEVCHENKIANA

Abstract
Now there is a large number of scientific papers historical, archaeological, local history, literary and artistic nature, highlighting the life and work of Taras Shevchenko during his stay in Pereiaslav, but it should be noted that today the state of research problems of Pereiaslav’s Shevchenkiana remains understudied. The issue is due to the lack of complex development problems of historiography of the Pereiaslav’s Shevchenkiana, since the scientific revolution there are new materials, themed conferences, round-tables, which require holistic studies. The source base is the basis for any scientific research, so her features and character are primarily determined by the specifics of the chosen topic. The main content of the source base of this study is a set of scientific publications and archival sources that directly or indirectly relate to the study of the life and works of T. Shevchenko connected with Pereiaslav. Therefore, for ease of handling and maximum coverage of the range of sources, their systematization according to thematic content, scientific representativeness, integrity and completeness of the assigned problems.
