Spectrum Prediction Technique in Cognitive Radio Over Different Fading Channels
Journal Title: International Journal of Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Fundamentals (www.ijeemf.com) - Year 2012, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
Wireless communication importance is that it is increasing throughout the world due to broadband and cellular technologies. In the world everyone would like to be connected seamlessly anytime anywhere through the network that is best. Laptops with wifi, sensors, Cell phones – all are wireless devices and they use a finite amount of radio spectrum. With the number of devices increased, they compete for limited bandwidth available and service level provided to them is degraded. Also traditional fixed spectrum allocation policy will not meet the needs and services of the wireless users for long time. The result of simulation shows that the mechanism could obviously decrease the interference of detection error to authorized system, and could apparently reduce the cost of frequency spectrum access chances of cognition system caused by detection error.

ESTIMATION OF MASS DISTRIBUTION IN ANNULAR COMBUSTOR OF GAS TURBINE IN COLD FLOW USING CFD TOOLS
Since the gas turbine is an air-breathing engine, its performance is changed by anything that affects the density and/or mass flow of the air intake to the compressor. Ambient weather conditions are the most obvious chan...
A NEW APPROACH FOR IMPROVEMENT OF DARK IMAGES
This paper deals with enhancement of images with poor contrast and detection of background .Contrast enhancement is an important task that is commonly used as a preprocessing step to improve the images . This proposal de...
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF ZIGBEE AND LEACH PROTOCOL IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK
A Wireless Sensor network is a collection of wireless sensor nodes that are capable of communicating with each other without the use of a network infrastructure or any centralized administration. The wireless nodes perfo...
POWER INVESTIGATION IN RADIO OVER FIBER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
In this paper, we have analyzed the impact of laser-spectral width and differential delay due to chromatic dispersion, incorporating dual-electrode Mach–Zehnder modulator (DEMZM), in radio-over-fiber (RoF) transmission s...
