Specyfika monitoringu aspektu transportowego w monitoringu jakości usług publicznych na szczeblu lokalnym

Abstract
The paper discussed the powers and tasks of the local government regarding transport. In addition, basic information on monitoring, including the monitoring of public services, were presented. These two parts are the background to a more detailed presentation of the transport aspect of the possibilities of monitoring at the local level. Furthermore, the specifics of monitoring the transport aspect were discussed. To a great extent the conclusions in this part of the article come from experience in the implementation of the monitoring of the quality of public services in several Polish municipalities. As a result, they may be useful in the implementation of the monitoring of the transport aspect by other local government. Monitoring, including the monitoring of the transport aspect can be a valuable tool; however, it must be well prepared, otherwise time and financial outlays devoted to its implementation will be a waste.
