SPEECH ETIGUETTE IN THE TRAINING SYSTEM TARGETED TO THE SPECIALISTS IN THE SPHERE OF SERVICE

Abstract
The role of speech etiquette in the training system targeted to the specialists in the service sector was substantiated in the article. Speech etiquette contributes to the manifestation of person’s moral feelings, provides a positive psychological atmosphere, creates conditions for tolerant communication. Neglecting speech etiquette reduces the effectiveness of communication, which can lead to conflict situations. In professional activity, these manifestations lead to negative consequences. Therefore, the formation of speech etiquette plays an important role, which facilitates the processes of transmission, analysis and perception of information and, therefore, acts as an important tool for improving professional efficiency. The essence and evolution of the category «speech etiquette» were considered, the practice of its application in professional activity was analyzed. The etiquette of communication is understood as a universal phenomenon. At the same time, it has its own ethnic characteristics, national originality. This is due, on the one hand, to the specifics of the natural and climatic conditions, methods of management, contacts with other people, the influence of religion, the development levels of culture and civilization, etc.; and on the other hand ‒ it is stipulated by people’s temperament, mentality, national character. Globalization influences are manifested in the universalization of communicative interaction, the adoption of verbal foreign-language formulae into speech etiquette. Expansion of the communication within various ethnic and racial groups leads to the borrowing, first of all, of English constructions. On the other hand, ethno-cultural linguistic features have a decisive influence on speech etiquette. Global and ethno-cultural factors influence the use of speech etiquette in social groups and communities. Professional activity as a type of social interaction involves the use of appropriate professional speech etiquette. Professional speech etiquette is a system of verbal formulae for communication, stable expressions which are used in situations of professional interaction. Professional language proficiency of a specialist working in the sphere of service involves the use of general and professional speech skills. At the same time, general language skills presuppose possession of verbal means, keeping to profession-oriented speech norms, the ability to use chosen speech means in the process of solving individual and collective working situations, formation of personalized style of one’s own speech, avoidance of linguistic stamps, consistent, clear statement of thoughts and ideas, possession of speech etiquette. Creation of didactic conditions for the formation of professional speech etiquette of future specialists in the sphere of service implies their motivation to study speech etiquette, the formation of a positive attitude to professional activities, the development of cognitive activity, awareness of the personal meaning of learning professional language etiquette, the use of an individual approach as well as the combination of group and individual forms of work.
