Abstract
Sports sciences = physical activities. Quality of life = life style. Sports sciences can act as a factor within a life quality system, provided life style of the population can be improved by changed physical activities. Physical activity is related with proper health behavior which includes the following: monitoring weight, smoking and other risky habits, all leading to a new life style. It can be noticed that risk-factors of mass non-contagious diseases are predominantly related with life styles. Life style as a health factor is understood as a set of variables under voluntary control of an individual. It is an important strategic implication to direct certain resources, foreseen for health advancement of the nation, towards promotion of a higher level of physical activities, since individuals with better physical activities can achieve automatically the advancement at all other fi elds of their own style of living
