Сriminalization in the Conceptual Apparatus of Criminological Science

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of «criminalization» of the concept in the conceptual apparatus of criminological science and the ratio of this definition with the similar one in the conceptual apparatus of Criminal law and Sociology. We consider the etymology of the word «criminalization»: its general interpretation and its feature of use in various spheres of society. Particular attention is given to the specifics of the concept of «criminalization» in Criminal law. We analyze modern approaches of the use of this concept to characterize social processes of Sociology and Criminology. The author studies the relation of lexemes «concept» and «term». In development concept of criminological science in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century relevance of disclosure of form and content of the person criminalization is noted.The author indicates that the person criminalization is antisocial process, its essence is to obtain the individual criminogenic characteristics that constitute his or her individual criminogenic complex and when a person commits a crime, they gain new quality of public danger. The criminological study of specifics of particular objects criminalization will open new possibilities for increasing of effective counteraction against socially dangerous phenomena and processes in jural society.
