Abstract
The paper addresses the growing issue of psychoactive drug addiction. It presents a wide range of these substances that are available for their users, as well as their distribution channels. The author divides narcotics according to their use, origin, availability of their specific groups, and the economic status of their users. The article also presents information on difficulties in diagnosing and treatment of psychoactive drug victims, as well as the latest statistical data concerning addictions.
