Abstract
We investigated and developed a structural-functional model of the formation of professional competence of cadets-operators at the college. Analysed concepts of "building", "model", "design". The main components (blocks) of the model are outlined. Terms and stages of the formation of professional competence of cadets-operators of information processing and software on the basis of a college are considered.
