STAGES AND METHODS OF INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: MANAGEMENT APPROACH

Abstract
The article substantiates the necessity of transformation of the functions and tasks faced by the subjects of the inventory process for more effective realization of operational, tactical and strategic goals of the enterprise. For this purpose, the stages of inventory, which are distinguished in the studies of domestic and foreign scientists, are detailed, sub-stages, tasks and functions of accounting at the stage of verification. Generalized management tasks, the solution of which is to provide an inventory commission. The main methods used during inventory are given. An expanded list of inventory procedures is proposed in terms of the stages of its implementation, with the transition to the organization of an inventory process, oriented to the needs of management.
