Stages of formation and development of the Crimean Tatar language

Abstract

The ancient Crimean Tatar language was formed for several centuries, namely in two stages: the Old from the XIII – XIV centuries. And Middle in the fifteenth and twentieth centuries. Excessive influence on the language was from the Arabic language, later – also from other Turkic languages, and the latest five centuries from the Ottoman Turkish language. The article is devoted to the issue of forming the Old Crimean Tatar language during these stages. High attention is paid to the alphabet. The phonetic, morphological features of the Old Crimean Tatar language (eski qırımtatar tili) are highlighted and analyzed.
