Abstract
The article is considered the problem of qualitative training of students of vocational school of the machine-building profile. The attention is paid to the questions of geometric training of future electric gas-welder, machine tool operators of a wide profile, locksmiths for repairing cars. The professional requirements of future workers, which they acquire during the study of the section "Stereometry" in the course of mathematics, are determined. The publication has selected tasks for verifying the level of assimilation by students of vocational school of the machine-building profile educational material in geometry based on the results of their study at the secondary school. The state of geometric training of students of vocational school of machine-building profile is analyzed.
