Stanisław Pigoń z perspektywy jednego badacza

Abstract
The academic achievements of Stanisław Pigoń are the constant inspiration for subsequent generation of researchers, especially in the area of Romantic literature. Czesław Kłak, an author of dissertations and joint publications, devotes a lot of research to his heritage. Kłak has been systematically studying Pigoń’s fruitful correspondence, writing comments on his scientific works and looking for evidence of brave professor’s life, who was an active member of important events from scientific and social life. The book titled Pigoń collects a couple of dozen articles, analyses the correspondence of the literary historian with important persons of scientific and cultural life and the works related to the biography and the reception of the scholar’s thoughts.
