STATE AS A KEY ECONOMIC SECURITY MANAGER ON THE WAY OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

Abstract
The article clarifies the role of the state as the key manager of economic security on the way to the European in-tegration. The basic definitions of «economic security» have been analyzed. The components of economic security such as industrial, demographic, energy, foreign trade, investment and innovation, macroeconomic, food, social, and financial security have been investigated. The main providers of economic security of the state have been specified. The list of threats to the national interests and national security of Ukraine in the economic field in view of the com-ponents of economic security system has been submitted. The economic security as mutually agreed system of inter-national, national level of an individual economic structure and the level of an individual have been considered. The basic problems of economic security that require urgent solutions have been specified. The main tasks that Ukraine has to perform to strengthen its leading position in the European economic area have been suggested. In the current situation, caused by both external factors and internal economic and political situation, Ukraine has faced an urgent problem, that is, on the one hand, in some contradiction between the need to integrate into the world, in particular, the European economy, and to provide domestic economic integration, and on the other hand to protect its domestic market, national producers as well as national interests. At the same time we have to be aware of the fact that the global economy is still a platform of defending the interests of different countries, and it presumes that only establishment of a national system of economic security in our state will provide some opportunity to prevent poten-tial destructive effects of the global economic processes and phenomena. In this regard, the state acts as the key man-ager of economic security, especially nowadays when Ukraine is on the way to the European integration.
