STATЕ OF CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM IN THE OFFSPRINGS OF THE FIRST AND SECOND GENERATIONS OF RATS EXPOSED INCORPORATED 131I
Journal Title: Наукові праці. Серія "Техногенна безпека" - Year 2016, Vol 280, Issue 268
Abstract
Exposure of a significant population of Ukraine by the Chornobyl accident led to negative changes in various systems of the body and increase the incidence of parents of children born to exposed parents. Changes include pathophysiological and clinical displays of affection, combined with impaired carbohydrate metabolism. Research glucose concentration in the offsprings blood of the first and second generations of rats exposed to iodine-131 and changes in body mass was held in connection with numerous data of clinical observations on carbohydrate metabolism, reduced glucose tolerance, high risk of developing diabetes in individuals exposed ionizing radiation
