State policy in the field of education: legal aspect.

Abstract
The article analyzes the legal aspects of state policy in the field of education, taking into account the provisions of the doctrine and the updated provisions of the legislation and strategic documents in the field of education. The essence of the concept “state policy in the sphere of education” is defined and the features typical for the state policy in the field of education are singled out. The periodization of the formation of such a policy in the state since the proclamation of Ukraine’s independence has been analyzed. The list of subjects involved in the implementation of state policy in the field of education is determined. The attention is paid to the problems and prospects of development of state policy in the field of education.
