STATE, PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF SCIENCE DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of affairs in the scientific field in Ukraine as a whole, as well as in academic and university science. The problems related to the choice of priority directions of research in view of the development of science in the world, the prospects of its individual directions from the standpoint of the development of the world economy and the place of science in these processes are considered. Concerns are expressed about the attitude of power institutions to the science in Ukraine its importance underestimation for all spheres of the state's life, including national security.
