STATE REGULATION OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONS OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The issue of state regulation of the development of regions is considered. The opinions of other authors regarding the definition of the state regional policy, its mechanisms and principles are analyzed. Comparative priorities of the state strategy of regional development. A list of current challenges for Ukraine's regional policy is presented. The scheme of interconnection of indicators and strategic goals is presented. The basic requirements for drafting the strategy of regional development are defined. The conclusion is concluded that not all measures of state regulation are effective and need to be improved. There is also a large number of scientific works on state regulation measures, and at the same time there is no single, well-formed notion represented by state regulation.
