Static Analysis and Stability of the Steel Framework
Journal Title: Machine Dynamics Problems - Year 2018, Vol 42, Issue 1
Abstract
The aim of the work is a qualitative and quantitative comparison of the results of analysis of stability of the steel section girder framework I-beam, aligning the frame elements and rod elements of the coating, using a finite element method. The advantage of sheet metal cross-sections is the ability to freely select the thickness of the component sheets; the use of rigid belts and slender webs gives the most efficient use of the cross-section load capacity. The plate girders show a large supercritical load capacity during bending, the breaking loads for this type of plate girders can be significantly higher than the critical loads.
Friction Induced Oscillations and Material Degradation in Railway Engineering
Maintenance of tracks and vehicles is an important factor for security and passenger comfort. Late and insufficient repairs may have an accelerating effect on the degradation of a railway system’s quality. In the present...
Effects of Hindrance Factors on a Squeeze Film of a Porous Bearing LubricatedWith a Dehaven Fluid
In the paper the influence of the hindrance factors on the pressure distribution and loadcarrying capacity of a curvilinear thrust porous bearing is discussed. The equations of motion of a pseudo-plastic fluid of DeHaven...
The Impact of Changes in the Designs of Concrete Airport Pavement on Its Strength Properties
The article presents the analysis of dowelled slabs made of reinforced concrete which were subjected to thermal and operational loads, in the aspect of varying diameter of the dowels and their arrangement. The main objec...
Model of Motion of the Mobile Platform With Three Wheel Drive
In this paper the results of the analysis based on the kinematics and the dynamics models of the three-wheeled mobile robot, with two rear wheels and one front wheel have been included. The prototype model has been devel...
Influence of Printer Head Velocity on FDM Deposited Path Deformations
Fused deposition modeling is a technology, which uses print head’s nozzle that is moved in three dimensions, during extraction of the filament material. The common issue is the fact, that the quality parameters of the de...
