Statinler Diyabetes Mellitusa Neden Olur mu?

Abstract
There are many different opinions about the treatment of hyperlipidemia in the last decade in Turkey. Some of them insist on the idea that no treatment is required even for very high levels of low density lipoprotein (LDL). However, there are many guidelines which state the necessity of cholesterol lowering medicine. Whether statins cause diabetes is still a question of debate. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the published articles about the cause of diabetes mellitus of the statins use.
