Statistical indicators of development of tourism in Ukraine: directions improvement and harmonization with international standards

Abstract
The article examines national and international accounting system of indicators of tourism development, identifies the main problems and suggests ways to improve it. Harmonization of indicators of tourism development with international standards contributes to a reasonable estimate of the results of tourism activities and the definition of the real contribution of the tourism industry to the economic growth of Ukraine.
