Status kobiety w islamie. Teoria i praktyka na przykładzie wybranych państw arabskich

Abstract
The status of women in Arab countries is an important subject for investigation. In the Polish science, the matter has so far been little investigated from the political angle. This article is an attempt to take a closer look at the status of women in three Arab countries Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The choice of these countries is not accidental. First of all, the importance of these three countries lies in their geopolitical location, their natural resources, as well as in the geostrategic relations between these countries and, on the one hand, other Middle Eastern states and, on the other hand, states in other parts of the world (especially the United States). In the article, the Author will first discuss theoretical questions relating to the situation and the rights of women in Arab states in the context of principles of Islamic law. The Author will then consider how the situation and the rights of women in these Arab countries have evolved and what form they have taken in practice.
