STEPAN BANDERA IMAGE INTERPRETATION IN THE CURRENT UKRAINIAN LITERATURE ABOUT ATO

Abstract
The article provides information on the life and activities of the leader of Ukrainian nationalists, Stepan Bandera. The origins of the ambiguous attitude of the Ukrainian population towards his personality were analyzed. The work focuses on the peculiarities of the functioning of Stepan Bandera image in contemporary Ukrainian literature. The novel is based on the tales of S. Talan "Naked Nerve", E. Polozhiya "Ilovajsk", S. Loika "Airport", in which the authors depict modern events in eastern Ukraine. The relevance of the study is due to the constant attention of patriots to the image of the leader of the OUN.
