Strategic analysis of the activities of financial intermediaries in Ukraine

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to identify the modern development problems of financial intermediation in Ukraine and to develop proposals for their solution. Achieving this goal made by means such general scientific and special methods of research: dialectical approach, systematization and generalization, analysis of the dynamics of statistical indicators, SWOT-analysis. Identified strengths and weaknesses of financial intermediaries and opportunities of their future development, the implementation of which will prevent or neutralize the negative impact of possible external threats of stability in the financial services markets. The developed proposals in the article aimed at increasing the stability of functioning financial intermediaries in the strategic perspective, ensuring the effectiveness of their activity, prevention of development of negative trends that capable of destabilizing the state of the financial services market in Ukraine.
