Journal Title: Roczniki Bieszczadzkie - Year 2011, Vol 19, Issue 1

Abstract

Characteristic of common yew population in two sites is presented. These sites have not previously been described in literature but they are both well known and protected by local foresters. At both localities yews grow in production forests, near to reserves where the species is protected. These yew populations are natural and possess proper spatial and size structure. Regeneration is high and of a high standing stage structure. The specimens’ health state is quite satisfactory and not differs from that in the nearby reserves.
