Structured system analysis of the experience of Ukraine in determining key competencies

Abstract

The article analyzes the current normative legal documents and normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The research provides grounds for confirming purposeful progress of the national education to European and international standards and practice of determining key competencies. Comparative analysis of key competencies defined by the Law of Ukraine “On Education” and “The Concept of Implementing the State Policy in the Field of Reforming General Secondary Education” New Ukrainian School “confirmed their almost complete identity, which emphasizes the consistency and continuity of these documents in the current conditions of reforming the education system in Ukraine. In connection with the introduction of digital technologies, the formation of information and digital competence of citizens is of particular importance. The conducted research gives grounds to assert about the purposeful promotion of the domestic education to the European and international standards and practice of determining key competencies.
