Study And Implementation Of Drive Test For Development Of GSM Network
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 10
Abstract
Even though mobile radio systems deliver more and more performance data there is always a need to measure the performance of the network in the field. These measurements can either be part of the deploying new network sites inorder to meet coverage, capacity and quality requirements, optimization of the network, benchmarking of performance, trouble shooting, or to verify the performance after an upgrade or reconfiguration of the network. These measurements are performed through Drive Test and RF survey. Drive testing is principally applied in both the planning and optimization stage of network development. The paper focuses on the procedure of drive test and its importance in network planning.

An enhanced QoS Architecture based Framework for Ranking of Cloud Services
With the rapid growth of cloud computing, many organizations such as Amazon, IBM and HP started to offer cloud services to various consumers. From the customer’s point of view, it is very difficult to choose which...
Universal Controller Design Using Arm Controller
In this paper, different control strategies are discussed and design of universal (process) controller on ARM embedded platform is proposed. The same controller support feedback, cascade, ratio and feed forward...
Optimization of EDM Process Parameters Using Taguchi Method with Graphite Electrode
In this paper experimentation is performed on AISI D3 tool steel using graphite electrode of 10 mm diameter. The process parameters are taken on the basis of Taguchi method. The objective of the paper is to optimize the...
Area Efficient Low Power Compressor Design Using GDI Technique
Compressors are major components of the present multiplier designs. In multipliers maximum amount of power is consumed during the partial product addition. For higher order multiplication, a huge number of adders or comp...
