Study of KM components in physical education and its relationship with organizational culture of physical education teachers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the relationship between organizational culture and (job challenge, communication, innovation, trust, social cohesion) with knowledge management (knowledge acquisition, knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge distribution maintenance knowledge) among physical education teachers in the city of Tabriz.This research purpose is functional, its method is descriptivecorrelation and the population of its are all teachers in Tabriz. The estimated sample size was determined based on Morgan 177 persons. Data collection tools were knowledge management Inventory (Patrick, 2009) and Organizational Culture Questionnaire (Carmel, 2005). The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 10 experts in the field of sports management. The reliability of the questionnaire Obtained by using Cranach's alpha coefficient for the KM Questionnaire (Patrick, 2009) α= 0.83and Organizational Culture Questionnaire (caramel Abraham, 2005) α= 0.89. To analyze the data, SPSS 16.5 software package was used to perform descriptive and inferential statistics. In inferential statistics, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to check the normality of data distribution was used that after confirmation of abnormal data, the nonparametric Wilcoxon test, Spearman correlation test to examine the relationship between organizational culture and knowledge management among physical education teachers in Tabriz were used. The comparison between experimental and theoretical results show that from the perspective of physical education teachers in Tabriz between job challenges, communication, innovation, trust, social cohesion and knowledge management among physical education teachers in Tabriz there are significant differences..
