Study of Navigable Depth Applied With the Condition of Fluid Mud

Journal Title: Science Paper Online - Year 2006, Vol 1, Issue 2

Abstract

With the increasing depth of sullage coast ports, the back silting of the ports become more serious, and the fluid mud develops, which cause more difficulties in the maintenance of water depth. This paper dissertates and analyses the characteristics of the fluid mud, dissertates the principium and method about the application of navigable depth and well economical benefits in the practical application. Therefore, it’s an inevitable trend to apply navigable depth in the water depth maintenance of the sullage coast ports.
