STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF LOW-INTENSITY NATURAL AND TECHNOGENIC INDUCED IONIZING RADIATION ON THE BLOOD PARAMETERS OF CHILDREN DEPENDING ON PLACES OF RESIDENCE, WITHIN THE SAME LOCATION (KIROVOGRAD REGION OF UKRAINE)

Journal Title: World Science - Year 2018, Vol 4, Issue 4

Abstract

In the article are presented the analysis of the influence on the blood parameters of the children's population of a complex of negative environmental factors created by the permanent action of low-intensity natural and technogenically-induced radiation, depending on the places of residence in the Kirovograd region of Ukraine. Epidemiologic, sanitary-statistical, sanitary-demographic and hematological research methods used in the work. The main group of the study was 200 children aged 3 to 15 years living in conditions of permanent natural low-intensity ionizing radiation and in the area of operation of the nuclear fuel cycle enterprises in Kropivnitskiy and Maloviskivskyi districts. The control group comprised 200 children of this age who live in conditionally clean territories without the influence of technogenically intensified natural sources of ionizing radiation in Alexandria, Oleksandriyskiy district, Svitlovodsk, Svitlovodsk rayon. Studies have shown that the chronic effect of small doses of ionizing radiation negatively affects the peripheral blood of the children population of all studied age groups (the content of a pool of leukocytes). But a more significant negative influence on blood indices, and, accordingly, on the body carries out a combined effect of the constant action of low-intensity natural and technogenically induced radiation. The most affected by this negative environmental factors, among the surveyed children, were children of the younger age group: from 1 to 3 years in the research group.
