STUDY ON CATALYTIC ROLES OF TUNGSTEN CARBIDE NANOSPHERES FOR CH4/CO2 REFORMING OVER NI BASED CATALYSTS

Journal Title: Topics in Chemical & Material Engineering (TCME) - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 1

Abstract

In this paper, WO3 nanospheres are used carriers and Ni-WCx nanospheres are synthesized via the method of incipient impregnation and temperature programming carbonization with the content of Ni is 10%. The presence of Ni promotes the cracking of CH4, while the activation of CO2 takes place on WCx. Thus, the deactivation due to carbon accumulation or WCx oxidation could be avoided.
