Study on composite lignosulphonate-based slurry water-reducer

Abstract

A new type water-reducer for raw cement slurry was developed, which consists of mostly calcium lignosulphonate and a little modified agent N. When adding this kind of composite water-reducer into raw cement slurry, the water content was reduced and the energy consumption was also decreased. The experimental result shows the fluidity of the slurry with 29% water content is equal to that of the slurry with 35%, when adding the water-reducer into the slurry at weight of 0.05%. That means it could reduce 4%~5% water content and accordingly save 8kg~10kg coal consumption. The fluidity can be evaluated more exactly when we combine the slurry flow extending test with the viscosity test and slurry flow ending time test.
