Study on the Impact of Socio-Demographic and Human Characteristics

Abstract
This paper aims to present the research results obtained following a PN II research project whose final objective is represented by the creation of a specialized portal aimed to support the Romanian consumers of banking products and services in obtaining necessary knowledge and skills for making financial decisions. This project aims to assess how public is informed and provide necessary support for a correct evaluation of undertaken risks when increasing the degree of indebtness. This paper presents the results of the study undertaken on the level of education and information of population in relation to banking products and services.
