STUDY ON TRENDS IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF INLAND WATER TRANSPORT ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE AND EU COUNTRIES

Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis of the economic activity of enterprises of inland water transport of Ukraine and the EU countries. The main economic and market trends specific to this type of transport are highlighted. Some problems of domestic river transport which complicate cooperation with European countries are described as well as promising directions of their solution are outlined.
