The article is concerned with the coverage and substantiation of methodological bases of modern lexicographical practices that open the prospect of dictionary processing of language objects of considerable degree of complexity such as various types of means of cohesion in a broad sense – grammatical units. The compilation of such a dictionary can be considered to be a transition from the declarative models of traditional semantics as a means of fixing a dictionary meaning. Instead it prioritizes a model representation of a functional-semantic variant of a dictionary unit. The article presents statements about a well-established algorithm of information processing of means of cohesion and presenting their dictionary meaning and adequate translation as a consequence of the implementation of certain procedures of multivariate analysis
