Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of supervision and control over observance of the legislation on labor of the European Union. The attention was paid to the normative provisions in the EU regulations regarding the requirements for EU member states to supervise and monitor the observance of labor legislation. Particular attention is paid to the considerable attention of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU to the issue of legal regulation of supervision and control of labor protection. It is emphasized that supervision and control in the EU is characterized by various forms of its implementation, including the involvement of social partners.
