SUPERVISORY AND CONTROL ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE: HISTORICAL AND COMPARATIVE LEGAL ASPECTS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the history of formation and development of supervisory and control functions in criminal justice in Ukraine, as well as the comparative legal study of this institution in the United States and Western Europe. The study of this issue will allow in the future to form the main vectors of improvement of national legislation aimed at determining the optimal (reasonable) the balance between the Procurator's Office, departmental and judicial control.
