SUPPLY OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY OF AVIATION ENTERPRISES IN THE CONTEXT OF THEIR LOGISTICS ACTIVITY

Abstract
An important role for improving the innovation activity of one of the most important fields of the economy – functioning of aviation enterprises has logistics activity. After all, logistics ensures achievement of necessary conformity of innovations to the principles of logistics management, optimizes innovation activity by achieving logistic efficiency, improves functional interrelations of the organizational structure and develops business cooperation with the participants of the logistics chain of aviation enterprises. It was established that the expediency of supply of innovation activity of aviation enterprises is due to the need of increasing their competitiveness in international markets. An analysis of world trends and activities of the leading companies in the world aviation industry reveals the potential opportunities for the air transportation market for passengers and cargo, indicating a dynamic growth in demand for such services. Among the world’s leading airline companies are Emirates Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Air China, which are providing an integrated package of services, i.e. simultaneously in the transportation of passengers and cargo. Innovations and logistics are the key factors determining their competitiveness in the field of air transportation. Ukraine’s aviation industry is a strategically important basic field for the national economy. It has more than 60 enterprises, although its base is less than a dozen. Among them are Antonov State Company, SE “Lutsk Motor Repair Plant”, Motor Sich JSC, State Enterprise “Plant 410 Civil Aviation”, Kharkov State Aircraft Manufacturing Company and few others. But they need technical re-equipment, reliable investment-innovation support and the use of logistics activity as an important component of optimizing costs. In order to increase the innovation activity of aviation enterprises through improvement of their logistic activities, it is suggested to ensure the development and construction of integrated logistic structures of aviation enterprises that will ensure the implementation of innovative technological benefits; increasing the unity of project, production and service enterprises by developing a package of engineering and reengineering support for the production of aircraft in order to optimize costs and more rapid return on investment; to introduce a methodical approach for determining the effectiveness of the interconnection of participants of the logistics chain of aviation enterprises, which, based on the model of aggregate average costs of production, will better take into account the specificity of science-based and high-tech production; ensure implementation of CALS-technologies in order to save transaction costs of the logistics chain; create conditions at the state level for the innovative development of aviation enterprises. Further research should be aimed at identifying strategic guidelines for the innovation activity of aviation enterprises.
