Abstract
Проведено аналіз основних авторських підходів, що сформувалися в межах новітньої української історіографії в проблемі вивчення становлення та функціонування суспільно-християнського руху в Галичині. Розкрито основні тенденції та напрямки сучасних досліджень. На основі комплексного аналізу історіографічного доробку вітчизняних науковців доведено, що зі здобуттям Україною незалежності, увага дослідників зосереджується, головним чином, на вивченні проблемних питань політичної та етно-національної історії Галичини. The analysis of the main author's approaches created within the framework of the latest Ukrainian historiography in the problem studying formation and functioning of the socialchristian movement in Halychyna. In the paper the current state of study by contemporary Ukrainian historians of the problem of the emergence and activity of the social-christian movement in Halychyna in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is analyzed. The proposed article is based on such fundamental principles of historical research as scientific objectivity and historicism. The analyzed works were systematized by the lines of the research. The main aim of the article is to analyze the main historiographical approaches to the studying of a given problem, the degree of its scientific development, as well as the prospects for further investigation of the repressive of the activities of the social and Christian movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It is established that the researchers have paid the greatest attention to the elucidation of the sources of studying the social-Christian movement, its prominent representatives. This article, which is based on the scientific achievements of domestic historians on this problem, shows that the social-christian movement in Halychyna in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries was represented by a number of bright personalities, such as O. Barvinskyy, K. Studinskyy, O. Makovey, A. Vakhnyanin. For his small number he played a significant role in the Ukrainian social and political life. The scientific novelty consists in the creation of a integral picture of the historiography of the activities of the social-christian movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries
