Synthesis And Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Some New 2- Chloro-3-[3-(6-Nitro-1H-Benzimidazol-2-Yl)-1H-Pyrazol-5- Yl]Quinolines
Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Pharmacy and Biological Sciences (IOSR-JPBS) - Year 2018, Vol 13, Issue 5
Abstract
A new series of pyrazole substituted 6-nitrobenzimidazoles have been synthesized by the oxidation of pyrazoline substituted 6-nitrobenzimidazole derivatives with iodobenzene diacetate in dichloromethane. All synthesized compounds are characterized on the basis of IR, 1H NMR and Mass spectral studies. These compounds were evaluated for anti-inflammatory activity. Results reveal that, some of the compounds exhibited good anti-inflammatory activity.
